Currently: Keith Ellison, MN Attorney General, has been appointed special prosecutor in the case of George Floyd’s death. Ellison will lead the prosecution. Mike Freeman will remain involved. (link)

All four officers have been fired, and Officer Chauvin has been arrested and charged with third-degree muder and second-degree manslaughter. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. Scroll down for actions you can take right now. See below for background info on MPD and prison abolition.

• 3rd degree murder and manslaughter charges are not sufficient
• Using of any type of force against protestors is not acceptable
